Day: 8 (Lumut - Pangkor Island)

Hi ALL! We are now in Pangkor Island.

First of all, thetrishawman team would like to take this opportunity to thank Dato’ Eric Lim, the Managing Director of CHM (Cititel Hotel Management) and also Dylia Ong for their kind sponsorship of our accommodation in Pangkor Island (Pangkor Island Beach Resort) and our stay at Cititel Penang when we arrive in Penang Island.

Day: 7 (Sabak Bernam - Lumut)

As planned and expected, we will be going through quite a long distance ride today, a 88 KM journey.

We got up at 4AM and started off our journey at around 4:50. Not long after we hit the road we came across a rather unique bridge that splitted into two smaller bridges, right and left for each traffic direction. Wonder why it’s built such a way?

The journey today took us from Sabak Bernam through Route 5 passing by towns like Hutan Melintang, Kg Sg Epek, Kg Sg Buloh Bt 8, Seberang Perak, Kg Sijagob, Lekir and Setiawan etc etc.

Day: 6 (Kuala Selangor - Sabak Bernam)

This morning we left Kuala Selangor at 4:50 AM after saying goodbye to Jordan and Rimson. Both of them drove back to Malacca 3 hours later after we hit the road.

The journey from Kuala Selangor to Sabak Bernam was very smooth, again on a flat land. Coconut plantation everywhere on both side of the road. This morning I took the pilot seat first, then handover to Ah Seng and Kevin. Ah Seng was the instructor and after sharing some road safety tip and everything about the trishaw, we let Kevin took the pilot seat.

Day: 5 (Morib - Kuala Selangor)

A good trishaw ride today! We have covered about 95 KM today, making the total distance that we have conquered so far, 280 KM ++. Initially, we were planning to put a night in Klang but decided to continue with our journey to Jeram, before we decide where and when to rest.

Day: 4 (Morib)

We have done well so far and also, because we like the place, we have decided to give ourselves a day-off.

Honestly, we were supposed to take a break but it seems that the four of us were even busier than our normal working day.

Ah Seng, Wei Peng and Jordan spent most of their morning session on the beach, looking for clamps and thanks for their effort we got an extra dish for our lunch. The housekeeper of the chalet was kind to cook it for us.

I spent most of my day on my computer. The broadband connection there was so bad that I almost given up but, I can’t just leave my blog quiet since the flag-off. Many people have already called up and asked if I am OK!

Besides washing up our dirty laundry, we did a maintenance service on my trishaw too.

It was a good day to catch up with all our family members and friends.

Again, we went to Tanjung Sepat for our dinner tonight. Yummy Yummy!

Day: 3 (Port Dickson - Tg Sepat - MORIB)

4:00 AM - wake up call. Checked on Wei Peng and his condition got so much better after I gave him a packet of Oral rehydration salts (orang flavour) last night and he managed to sleep well. According to him this morning he’s fine and wanted us to go ahead and continue with our journey.
