The Mission Accomplished @ day 21!

Endorsed by the Malacca State Government

Hi! 3 days ago my friend, Ms Varsha Ajmera accompanied me to see our Chief Minister YAB Datuk Seri Mohd Ali Rustam at his office. I wanted to request for Malacca State Government Endorsement on my mission.

The purpose: simply because it would be so much easier for us to approach the authorities (the police, local council, etc) with the Malacca state government endorsement letter. I know for sure when we arrive at Lumut and before catching a ferry to Pangkor Island, we may have to find a place to park / keep my trishaw for 2-3 days (unless I can take my trishaw along on the ferry). At this point I am thinking of Lumut police station, my first choice.

Secondly, I am planning to do a log book record of places where we passing through. Again, I will go to the police station, get my logbook timestamp and signoff by the officer on duty. Hope I can manage to pursuade the officer/s for photograph session too, for my “United Faces of Malaysia” photo album.

Anyway, our CM (Chief Minister) was a very busy man and we waited for about an hour before we managed to see him. (Cheers to Varsha). He read through the whole letter and I was so glad when he initialed on my letter and wrote a note for Linda to get her to prepare the Malacca state government endorsement letter for us.

Thank You! Thank You! Thank You CM!

Also, many thanks to Ms Varsha Ajmera  who has helped me out with the draft letter to CM and took me there. And also, thanks to Ms Linda Phua from the CM office for her kind suggestion and offer to have our Malacca State Government Letter of Support in both English and Malay languages.

Then I received an email from Ms Linda Phua yesterday evening informing me that THE letters are ready for collection. Bravo! Vincent accompanied me to the CM office this morning to collect the Endorsement Letters from Linda.

Well, with this endorsement letter now, I will make copies and handover to various departments and hope they will speed up the process of my permit applications as soon as possible which has been long overdue: Left with only 30 days before the flag off day.

You can view the Letter of Support / Endorsement from the attachments below:
